Last Updated January 23rd, 2020 at 10:58 amHello, my name is Manuel and today I want to tell you about the new Google AdWords interface. Little by little, how do i find a phone number in france is nudging us to test the BETA and replace the old interface. We have been testing for a few weeks and we can mention the following advantages:Advantages of the new Google AdWords interfaceFrom the ” Overview ” tab we can see, at a glance, the main metrics of the account with colorful and very practical graphs. Through diagrams, tables and line graphs we have at hand the information of the ad scheduling, the traffic of each device, the auction comparison and the main variations in campaigns and keywords. The heat map it offers with traffic data for each day and hour of the week is particularly useful. With the interface change came a change in the demographic targeting options : now, the Search Network also has parental status that was previously exclusive to the Display Network. Selecting household income can be helpful in targeting your ads to audiences with different price sensitivities. We now have a new Audiences page . It’s very useful because we can manage audience targeting and optimizations from one place.A small detail, but very practical: in the new interface we can manually modify the width of the columns . Itgives us greater comfort on a day-to-day basis and, for those who make their reports with screenshots, they save on juggling. For those of us who deal with a platform every day, it is sometimes difficult for us to adapt to the new: man is an animal of habit. But let’s not forget that it is still a Beta and that Google will improve it over time.Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel to find out about the latest Digital Marketing news!
SEO on YouTube: A Complete Guide – Part 1Last Updated January 8th, 2020 at 10:41 amSEO Specialist and CEO of Netconcepts Agency Stephan Spencer wrote an excellent and comprehensive guide to YouTube SEO for Search Engine Land. At MD we decided to translate it and bring it closer to the Spanish-speaking community. Here, the first part.SEO on YouTube: A Complete GuideAccording to the Alexa traffic ranking , YouTube is the second most visited site on the web. Right after Google. Unfortunately, a lot of digital France Phone Number List folks still treat it like any other social media site. But success on YouTube isn’t about posting content – it’s about optimizing your content, just like your website. It’s easy to find videos with millions of views and videos with no views that are basically the same. The difference between success and failure often comes down to a few items. When it comes to YouTube SEO, much of the optimization work can come down to a process that you can apply to all of your old videos and then to each video as you post it. And you are about to learn that process. Here’s what you need to know if you want your content to rank first on YouTube for the keywords you care about.YouTube: the basics
This section contains the essential information that you should understand before diving into YouTubeoptimization tactics.Keyword research firstYouTube is a video search engine. Therefore, you should focus on creating content in a strategic way, as you would when optimizing your website. This means doing keyword research to find out what your audience is interested in and how they translate that interest into words.
It’s easy to start your YouTube brainstorming . Just go to YouTube and start typing a keyword in the search box. As you type, you’ll get popular suggestions thanks to YouTube Suggest (the autocomplete feature built into the search box on YouTube). You can take this to another level by using the free Ubersuggest tool . It is a tool that will suggest multiple combinations according to a keyword that you have chosen. Remember to select “YouTube” instead of the default “Web”.The brainstorming keywords is one thing, but you will probably have keywords compare to each other to see which ones are searched more often. There is a tool for that, and it is completely free: Google Trends . It’s surprising how many SEO professionals don’t realize that Google Trends has a “YouTube search” option under the “Web Search” option. This tool does not give real numbers: unfortunately everything is in percentages. However, it is quite useful for comparing keywords with each other.Track your positioning in YouTube search enginesYou are probably tracking your positions in Google search results for a variety of keywords . But are you doing that with YouTube? You should do it! There are many tools for this, both free and paid. Find one you’re comfortable with so you can track progress as you optimize your videos.Content is king, consistency is queenObviously, to compete with all the other creators in the aggressive world of YouTube, you need great content that stands out from the crowd. While going viral is great, remember that YouTube is all about views – you’re looking to build a subscriber base and form long-term relationships with viewers. How is this accomplished? Producing quality content and publishing it on a regular schedule. Posting irregularly will cause a loss of subscribers. If you commit to posting every day, make sure you post every day. If you post once a week, on Tuesdays at 9am, never skip a week or post a late video (even if it’s only a few hours or the next day).
You have to be careful with agencies and production companies that say “people only watch short videos on YouTube, one or two minutes long.” Remember: YouTube’s ultimate goal is to compete with television in order to charge advertising rates similar to yours. What they are looking for is long-lasting, high-quality content that allows them to serve more ads and keep users on the site for longer.A key metric to consider is viewing time. Not just for each video, but for your channel. Ideally, you should see monthly increases in watch time as your channel grows.power of playlistsPlaylists are an underrated promotional tool on YouTube. While most companies create playlists around dates, content genres, products, and other broad categories, really taking advantage of this feature requires digging deeper.Use your keyword research to find out what people in your niche are searching for, and create playlists based on those topics. The first 48 hours are criticalYouTube’s algorithms are relentless. When uploading a new video, make sure you have all your optimizations ready to go (see below). Don’t post a video with the intention of optimizing it another day. If YouTube can’t get a clear idea of what your video is about, or if it doesn’t get any attraction from viewers (in terms of watch time and other engagement metrics), the video is going to suffer in ranking, and it’s going to it will be very difficult to recover that lost ground.
While it is possible to go back and correct poorly optimized videos by reviewing the titles, descriptiontags, thumbnails, transcription and more (which we recommend, of course), much of the damage will have already occurred after the first 48 hours.
